Trade Missions from Wales

 

We have successfully assisted and supported Welsh companies across a range of sectors as part of a trade mission by the Welsh Government to Poland and to Czech Republic.

The scope of our support included the lead generation and distributor search in Poland and in Czech Republic:

• search and identification of a high number of qualified import and distribution partners as well as of new customers (manufacturers)

• contact work with decision-makers from the target companies

• organization of and assistance in over 50 online meetings between the Welsh companies and the interested target companies

The Welsh companies were operating the following product areas:

• military equipment and PPE

• educational institution

• breath alcohol analysis technologies

• skincare products for businesses

• aircushion systems for packagings and shipments

• biomass measurement solutions

• splicing technologies for textile and composite industry

• software for cable design and manufacturing

• magnetic separation equipment for various processing industries

• brewery

• corrosion inhibitors for automotive, architectural, industrial, aerospace and marine industries

• wastewater monitoring, measurement and treatment technologies

• safety hardware for the marine and safety industries

Projects we have carried out within Welsh trade missions to GERMANY:

• an international manufacturing group offering exhaust connectors and bellows

The goal was to gain key contacts at OEM (Powertrain) and Tier-1 (Exhaust systems) in the Off-Highway, Agricultural, Machine and Marine industry in GERMANY.

• a specialist in automatic identification and data capture (RFID) for optimising manufacturing processes, insights and efficiencies using Smart technologies

Our support extended to:

• the identification of prospective partners and customers from ambulance, biological samples and pathology, hospitals, medical and lab equipment, research labs, lab software from GERMANY and from THE NETHERLANDS.

• organizing personal meetings with interested companies and providing on-site meeting support at the customer's exhibition stand at the MEDICA trade fair in Düsseldorf/Germany - the world's largest annual event for the medical industry

  
  

• one of the world’s leading authorities in the design and manufacture of high-quality specialist HVAC dampers and associated equipment

Our support extended to:

• the identification of qualified engineering houses for infrastructure projects (tunnel, metro) as well as of tunnel ventilation companies from all over the world
